YESTERDAY'S GONE

Malacca's trip: Day 1

17th of March: wasnt in a holiday mood, but still, cabbed down to amk to fetch san & melo & we proceeded to concorde hotel to meet the remainin 5 ppl. had some bread before e long coach trip.

during the long journey, my dear esther provided us with lotsa diff snacks, & all of us joked like there's no tmr. haha. ard 4 hours later, we've reached our destination, Malacca. i was not really that excited bcos seriously nth there attract me much. however, Ferris Wheel at my left hand side caught my eyes, e only thing tt interest me i guess.

After checkin in to Hotel Equatorial, we rest a while & there we go! we wanted to have our lunch at a Nyonya restaurant but upon reachin there den we realized its full house. thus plan changed, we walked to a nearby decent restaurant & had their well-known chicken rice balls. their chicken rice definitely tasted differently from sg.

san; melo. although we cant go in, we use e place as shooting scene =P
unfortunately, wenhui vomited aft e meal & melody started to hav stomachache. when they got better, we visited Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum. Was really impressed by the culture, their costumes are amazing. bought a really cute Nyonya hp holder. melody & bro went back to hotel due to their sickness, thus leavin the 6 of us. we walked down e streets, & i saw shinchan nail clipper, bought it w/o 2nd thought for baby. came across this accessories shop, bought earrings for myself & sam, & not forgeting door signs for upcoming new outlet.

headed to desert house, purchased some local products for my family & baby's mum while enjoying their in-house chendol & honey drink, totally refreshing~ walked to the famous Christian Church & passed by a no. of very well-structured buildings. felt no stress, no tall buildings, no high flats, only traditional & cultural buildings.

we are young at hearts!
during evening time, i suggested serene to bring us to e Ferris Wheel. all came along except for san & melo. but only me, wenhui & serene took e ride, the others chose to enjoy french fries, lol. we caught e wonderful view of sunset, it was totally gorgeous! other than tt, we didnt really enjoy it as there was unbearable smell, serene even beaten a mosquito e moment we came in, blood splashed, so disgusting! we couldnt wait for e ride to end, lol.

we decided to walk back to shopping malls, & we realized there's this biker keep riding the same round. & his cunning look gave us a bad instinct. serene den ask those with hand bags to walk towards e inside & silly esther & her daughter picked up many stones just in case the man come, we could throw it at him. haha.

fortunately, nth happen in e end. bought a side bag for myself & a few local products for my family. melody & san joined us aft tt for dinner at e chinese restaurant. food was pretty well served.

bck to hotel & we were really exhausted aft so much walking. good night everyone, looking forward to shoppin e next day!

Malacca's trip: Day 2

18th: morning everybody!! all of us went to hav hotel's breakfast, we are EQ Club's members thus we could enjoy our breakfast at a private place, however e food sucks! back to our room & esther's daughter found out e coke tt she took last night from e hotel's fridge has expired. we complained to the hotel & they initially didnt want to take e blame. after some reasonings, e person-in-charge of e beverages decided to give us a free sumptous lunch & begged us not to pursue e matter, if not he'll lose his job.

out of sympathy, we forgave him & warned him not to repeat such mistake again. due to this matter, our shopping trip is reduced to one hour, trishaws ride, visiting of museums & a spinning ride is all cancelled too )= nvm, take it as a experience. F.O.S: we spent an hour dere getting lotsa apparels. i got 6, 1 for baby, 1 for daddy, 1 for sam, others for myself.

boarded e coach at ard 4:30pm & we set off to sg. although many things happened but i stil enjoyed e trip somehow. at least i get to see many cultural materials tt cant be seen in sg. arrived at concorde hotel & had our dinner at e japanese eating place. cabbed home aft tt. i guess my family cant wait to see what i've got for them. =') & i miss my baby & frens too!
